GOAL & QUESTION

The potential of Jobiri's business idea is amazing, also with benefits that can attract a large number of users to interact with the platform, in this way they sought to implement mechanisms to make user navigation within the interface more user-friendly and in a way that they could easily understand what the ideal flow is, especially in the case where Jobiri has the added advantage of accompanying in all the stages that our user needs to fulfill his main need.

In summary, in the form of a question it is: How can we potentiate engagement and attract new users in the use of Jobiri?

RESEARCH

At the beginning the option of implementing gamification was considered, as an alternative solution for the initial objective, however, from my role as a designer, I carried out a systematic analysis of the information provided by Jobiri, also a heuristic evaluation where different results were obtained. , in which it was necessary to intervene before executing the gamification. As the first stage in the improvement, it was necessary to adjust the content and the information provided on the platform, in this way, I was able to propose to the team to start working with the information architecture and later on in parallel to start the implementation of gamification.

INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

The main challenge in this process was to implement a correct use of the content in a synthetic way. The use of methodologies such as lean, together with tools such as cardsorting and interviews were essential, to have the necessary components to make the proposals as a solution and improve the "wayfinding" & "findability" which are components that contribute to improving the categorization and hierarchy of the information within the platform.

PROTOTYPES & TESTING

Different prototypes were made on low and medium definition paper, also because for as the main component in this case and in which I personally prefer “content first” as it helps to size the amount of content and its hierarchy within each screen , and then if you start implementing visual design components, which obviously contributes to the understanding and good use of the platform. A / B testing and usability testing with software within the entire process facilitate decision making. However, I consider it important for future processes to approach in depth with our users and ensure that the entire team recognizes and visualizes it and works according to the user's real needs and wishes.
